Our stay was fantastic! The library theme is lovely and we enjoyed browsing through the many books throughout the property. The Reading Room on the second floor was lovely - we enjoyed the atmosphere, snacks, and beverages and very much appreciated their being available 24 hours. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout as well. The location in midtown is also extremely convenient for Grand Central, shows, Time Square, and an array of subway lines which made getting around the city a breeze.

Always a pleasure to stay at Library Hotel! We not only enjoy the amenities, they are our reason for making LH our NYC home whenever we visit family and friends (stayed up way too late reading books I found in our room and in the lounge!). The location is perfect for us, near so many favorite places and restaurants, and convenient to the subway and Amtrak. Can't wait to come back soon!

The room is thoughtfully laid out for your comfort..anything you could want is provided..the breakfast room etc. are all perfect. So is the staff. Would have liked to have dinner at the restaurant, however, the noise decibels were too much for our ancient ears.. next visit will try lunch.

Excellent location and willing staff. The room lighting especially the bathroom lighting needs to be much brighter. Modern LED lights could give guests the option of bright or not but currently the only option is dim. A great shaving mirror is rendered useless by the poor bathroom lighting. This is our second stay and still the exterior is covered with scaffolding. How much longer?

We had a wonderful stay at the Library Hotel. The room was perfectly located around the sites and major transportation locations. The temperature did mess up the ac two days but the staff was so accommodating to help get us through the nights. I would highly recommend the Library Hotel to my friends and anyone looking to travel to NYC to check out the sites!

Lovely hotel with a library room with refreshments as well as a roof top bar. My room was one of the smaller ones, and therefore cheaper, but plenty big enough for what I needed. A very comfy bed and welcome aircon. Close enough to things but far enough away to be quiet inside. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

Great position for sight-seeing (esp. as close to Grand Central. Clean, large enough room with everything we needed. Very comfy bed and quiet enough room. The best thing was the coffee, cans and snacks that were available 24/7 in The Reading Room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
