All of the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The staff called our room to make sure things were okay and if we needed any housekeeping services. I was a little taken back with the size of the room and the limited space in the bathroom for my essentials. However, my partner and I only stayed two nights in the standard room so we really didn’t need much anyway. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Not completely what I was expecting. The photos make it seem like there is a bar in the lobby and it was shut down. Online states that there would be robes available in the room, there was not. Refrigerator did not work, no way of warming up food in the room. The staff were nice enough to warm up our food in their kitchen. Room was very clean and cozy.

Royalton has been my preferred hotel for … 8 years now. I love the staff and the ambiance of the lobby. I wish the bar were back in action. The hotel could use a little renovation - to freshen it up, not to change the overall feel.

The value received from this hotel is tremendous for the block on which it is located. And it's close to many other desirable spots that I frequent. The Ian Shrager grandeur is gone, but the unused bar area is still a gem. When I had a heating problem in the middle of the night, they immediately sent a maintenance person to fix it.

Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. While the lobby area is cozy, this once lovely hotel is now very bare bones - no amenities in the room, cheap thin towels, no restaurant or bar any more and not even a coffee shop or coffee in the room. Electrical outlets are in odd locations. The shower was fine, good water pressure for a high rise hotel in NY. The tub had multiple cracks and would not have been a functional tub.
