Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. Plenty of things to walk to and see in the area. Brianna the manager was wonderful. Very helpful and informative. The breakfast choices were delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay at the Borland very much. It was in walking distance to many great restaurants and a great coffee house. Our room was clean and cozy and the parlor and dinning room were available for use by guests. The staff was kind enough to serve our breakfast earlier than the usual time to help us keep an appointment. The breakfasts were great. We will return!

If you’re looking for the picture-perfect bed and breakfast in a quaint upstate New York town with true colonial charm, look no further than the Borland House. We absolutely loved the experience of staying in this authentic home dating back to the 1830s. In a world where so many places feel manufactured or overly “theme park” inspired, this felt genuine, historic, and full of character. From the long plank creaking floorboards to the beautiful period-style furnishings, the massive poster bed, and the fireplace in our room overlooking peaceful country views, every detail added to the charm and warmth of our stay. Before arriving, I somehow missed the email with the check-in instructions — completely my fault — but it turned out not to matter at all. Molly, who stays on the property, was an absolute delight and warmly welcomed us, showing us around the house and explaining all of the amenities. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast and chose to eat outside on the patio overlooking the front yard, taking in the cool breeze and idyllic surroundings of this beautiful small town. After checkout, we spent time walking through town admiring the historic buildings and stunning period architecture, which made the entire experience feel like stepping back in time in the best possible way. This was truly a one-of-a-kind stay, full of charm, comfort, and authenticity. We left absolutely delighted with our visit and would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a beautiful old home with very comfortable accommodations and an amazing staff! The house is old so expect some creaky floors but it is clean, beautifully decorated and maintained, and it was a treat to stay in a place that is clearly well loved.

This place is so cool

This place is exactly what u think of when u think old timey bed and breakfast. I unfortunately had to leave before breakfast but I'm sad i missed it. Everything was so nice.
