「Roadside location convenient for our travel north. Plenty of parking on site and quiet as all of the rooms are at the rear of the hotel. A warm welcome from the staff and a comfortable room which was perfect for our overnight stop. The bar menu was extensive and we were fortunate to arrive in time for Sunday lunch which was one of the best we’ve experienced」

「Staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was not my favourite meal, overcooked egg and bacon. But next day requested it to be cooked how we like it, and they did. Parking was excellent and the rooms were very clean. The Wall lights by the bed need attention, bulbs not working. Was not worth askin g for them to be replaced at the time.」

「Perfect place to stay with a dog. The mattress could do with an upgrade but otherwise very comfortable although there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the accommodation. Food is excellent. 」

「Great location with an easy clifftop walk to Slain (Draculas) castle. Memorabilia of the town and Golf course was really intriguing. Good sized bed, large room with outdoor courtyard was a real bonus. Food and Drinks were fantastic (Try the beef pie) Some lights in the room did not work but overall really enjoyed our stay.」

「This is exactly what I pictured when I imagined staying in Scotland. The house is beautiful and the owners along with their two dogs could not be anymore wonderful. We also had one of our best breakfasts in Scotland.」

「I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. 「The property was clean and modern. The bar area lovely and the breakfast was included in the price which was very reasonable. We did have a problem with hot water and the electricity went out in our room. The staff was very responsive but could have comped us for our troubles. Cold showers, etc. All that said, it was very convenient and worth the stay.」

「飯店環境優美，一切都好，不知道是飯店老了要整修還是怎麼樣，住宿的品質很差。我們住的房間外面的樓梯正在重新裝修，樓梯漆的味道都蔓延到房間裡頭，真不知道為甚麼可以認為可以把客人安排在這樣的房間裡頭？另外，更可怕的是，早上起床廁所的天花板開始漏水，有兩條水柱從上面嘩啦啦噴下來，一個還是在洗手台上方（有照片為證）！真的很不悅，希望飯店可以為我們的住宿品質打折而為作出補償。」

「Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. 」
