「Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing...

「Hotels don't often exceed expectations but the Priory did. From the moment we arrived we felt well looked after - the rooms were big, clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The level of hospitality was just right and we felt very welcomed. As a bonus, the garden was lovely - full of culinary plants, which I saw the chef cutting first thing, and beautifully kept. We felt that the staff really minded about the quality of their guests' experience in all areas...

「This property, a freehouse since the 18th century, is exactly what I expected. Close to all Bath city sights, rooms are efficient and have everything you need. The property has had recent painting to lighten and brighten the spaces and they are inviting in a relaxed manner you would expect of a freehouse, that is the charm of the place.
