The condo was not cleaned when we checked in and it took 4 hours for someone to come clean it. The whole unit was dirty from the previous guests. We were given no compensation. We spent a full day cleaning it ourselves. We will not stay at an Elliot property again.

Not clean even after return cleaning

Fridge not completely clean, and freezer had what I can only guess as melted popsicles along edges. Main bathroom had urine down the front of the toilet and when the sanitized paper wrap was removed from seat, it too had urine and hair. Main shower overflowed within minutes. Showers edges needed to be scrubbed. Hall shower had a thick layer of black yuck between the overlapping sliding door. Kitchen utensils drawers were full of crumbs. Kitchen cabinet fronts needed wiping down. Sofa was gross and they had them cleaned the third day. Asked for a second cleaning of showers, toilets And refrigerator. three ladies came- one swept the other two watched. I did not check behind them as I assumed they did what they were supposed to do.

A lovely stay

The location of this property is amazing if you want to be close to myrtle beach, but don't want to be in the crowds. There is nothing but smaller condos/beach houses on this stretch of beach. You are also in between two piers which is nice. Down the street is an IGA which makes getting your groceries easy, and you are also only about 5 minuets away from several resteraunts and small fun atractions. As for the room itself, you can tell they have been trying to update it. Two of the bathrooms are beautiful, the living room and dining area are nice. The only thing that could use a little updating is the kitchen, it is still just a little outdated, but that did not at all affect the overall good review we had for the room. The only complaint we had was that the floors were rather dirty when we got there. There was a lot of sand and food crumbs from the guests befor us but overall the cleanliness was good.

Great place

Very nice and accommodating. The place could use some blinds that are affective at blocking out the sun, but other than that it was great!
