Horrible Rental Company
We rented this house because of the location and private pool. The house had more bedrooms then we needed but the pool was a must. We are a family of six with one being very pregnant and only wanting to sit in the pool.
When we arrived the noise was deafening. Next door they were doing construction with large equipment, jackhammers, etc. We called the rental company and they said someone would call us back. We NEVER heard back from anyone for the first two days. When I finally got a hold of them via text, they said they had no record of my husband calling and speaking to anyone. They wouldn't call us and would only communicate via text or email. We couldn't even reach anyone to try to move to a different house.
They finally emailed back and said they would not make any concessions. We were more than happy to pay for the days we could use the pool (weekend when construction wasn't happening). This is definitely a Breach of Habitability. I could have rented a house without a private pool for a lot less money. Also, I paid extra for the dogs and we couldn't take them outside because all they did was bark at the workers.
I own a rental home near Asheville and I would NEVER treat a renter this way.
