“We came from Taiwan and stayed a few days in Vancouver. The reason why we chose this hotel is its good location which is near Lions Gate Bridge and therefore close to Stanley park and downtown. In addition, the hotel service is definitely good. In particular, there are several staffs who speak Chinese and are very friendly toward Taiwan people. ”

“We spent 3 nights at Howie’s Retreat. He is a marvellous host. Warm, welcoming and personable. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is not a single thing that Howie has not provided for your comfort. If it isn’t there, you don’t need it. If anything isn’t right, he will go out of his way to fix it in a timely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is lovely too. A real home away from home. A perfect little nest for when you are not out exploring the area. Great……
