"Shout out to Krish at the front desk - he was very helpful when I called ahead about room information and had the best attitude when I checked in. He as well as everyone else were eager to help with recommendations and advice for everything we inquired about. The restaurant on-site (S&P) had AMAZING food. Don’t overlook it if staying here, you can’t find anything better in the neighborhood. Our room was bigger than anticipated and we had a cool view of the skating rink and a 45° side view to the water/downtown. Bed was comfy and bathroom was super clean. Very happy with our stay. "

"Good place to stay. Microwave in room and balcony. Interior of rooms is dated but it's nice to ba able to open a window to get fresh air or sit on the balcony with a view which you don't get in new hotels where you are constantly in a climate controlled environment. Shops and good eateries right down stairs at the Lonsdale Quay market or around lower Lonsdale. Quick seabus ride and you are in the heart of downtown. Would recommend and come back."

"Very quiet, nice amenities. TV control needs a little brain work to get it working. Some comments have been suggested to the owner about some items that would help and needed. "

"A quaint location and lots of treasures such as games to discover. Expect a steep staircase, creaky floors, and a small bathroom from this 110+ year old building. While staying there, the donut shop was closed and the new one yet to open. As a result, shopping is down a hill and then a multi-block climb back up it. The main heater definitely needs servicing (think a 747 engine). Nevertheless, cute, quaint, and very quiet. "

"Suite had everything you would need for a long stay and owner communicated well and was available if needed."

"We had a wonderful stay in Vancouver. This was a perfect spot if you are looking for something not in downtown. The host was responsive and very accommodating to us with our child. If we come back to Vancouver we would certainly consider staying here again."
