「My partner and I had such a lovely time here. I don’t even know where to start. The room was very cute, comfortable, clean and had a soaking tub ( and some lovely bath salts) that was a real treat. We took a nice little swim in the lake which was the perfect temperature. The gentleman who owns this place is friendly and professional, i felt welcome and at ease while interacting with him. I met a dog and a cat. The cat was perfect in every way- mysterious yet friendly, unafraid and unconcerned....

「Pictures were slightly deceiving as I did not know bedroom and living space is pretty much all combined. Within 30 minutes of arriving we attempted to warm up the oven and it started smoking. Thin walls, rat droppings , floor was obviously not throughly cleaned and could see crumbs under cabinets, very close to beach great view so I guess that’s why they can get away with doing the bare minimum. Won’t be returning or recommending. 」

「We were able to book the room last minute for one night of a long weekend. The price for a beach stay was quite reasonable especially when you add in the amenities. The hot tub was for adults only which was nice, but the open hours of 10am-10pm made it difficult to visit in the morning with an 11am check out time. 「We never could find the place. There was a road, but it wasn’t marked and the neighbor was mean mugging us the whole time. So figure it belonged to them. Also, pictures on listing were not the room we got. We saw pictures with a yard but after paying for it, it was a different room. On the second level. Needs better signage to find the place. 」

「We got in around 9pm and no lights were on and it was very cold. It took a long time to warm up. The stairs are very steep and the dog had trouble going up and down them. The bed was shaky due to the frame and mattress was well used. It was really windy and the house had lots of noises and the flags on top of the building would whistle. Very vintage and cute. Enjoyed the view of the ocean. 」
