“It’s the nicest place to stay but it’s showing signs of wear & could use some care, upkeep & updating. The rooms smell of age & animals. There should be exclusive pet rooms only due to allergies, etc. Our staff member upon check in was wonderful & took care of us in moving us to a better smelling room.”

“View was fantastic and it was so close to the beach you could just walk to it! However the room was not clean. There were also notes posted all over the room warning you of fines if f you did certain things, and although it’s good to communicate, it also didn’t make me feel relaxed and able to enjoy the stay. I would love to stay in Oceanside again but will look for different accommodations.”

“You're paying for the view from the road not the view from the cabin itself. The management wasn't very helpful when communicating and seemed like we were putting them out to message them at all. The bed was HORRIBLE and felt like carboard. There is no service in the area, at least for Verizon and whoever we were communicating with seemed annoyed we had any problems. “Budget friendly, clean and quiet hotel.
Front desk staff was very helpful and there were a few food options close by. The room was huge. There was no telephone in the room not that we needed one anyway.
We spent one night passing through and it was perfect. We ate at Fern‘s Café and had a wonderful experience during our stay.”

“This hotel was charming! if you love history and antiques, this is the place for you. The 100+ year old elevator alone is worth booking this hotel. We had a beautiful bay facing view that was great! The room was period antique but not stuffy and the hotel owner Katie showed pride of ownership in all the details.”
