「Good place for vacation. A bit over priced 」

「There was no signage for the car park as it was through a narrow gap behind the hotel. I was given the key to the room, which I was told was through a door to the right of reception. On going through the door I found I was outside in the poring rain with again no signage. I went back into the hotel and found a lovely lady who was cleaning, who I asked where room 225 was. She took me back outside and showed me my room was in the wooden single story building opposite, the entrances to these...

「Friendly staff (and locals!) no lift (but I knew that) but pleasant and (considering how near the A9 is) very peaceful room. A good breakfast to send me on my way…」

「This property is beautifully maintained, with a lovely staff. We stayed in the 2 bedroom stables and it was perfect for our family. Having the grassy backyard was also a nice feature. The walking trails and horses were also fun.」

「A hidden gem. Staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Very pet friendly and the digs were made to feel welcome. Treats and ample water bowls available. Well be back!」

「Staff were all so helpful and nice. Nothing was too much. The WiFi was not great the first night but has improved since. Food was good though perhaps needs to expand the menu a bit. They use local produce as much as possible which is excellent . Towels and bed linen were good quality and beds and pillows comfortable too. Would very definitely stay here again.」

「This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next.」
