“The cabin was clean, but I will see if you were gonna stay there. You need to have some type of slides flip-flops how she used to wear around the cabin because the floors are concrete and not smooth. The bed was very hard and not comfortable. We made breakfast in the morning, but had to go buy a spatula and cooking spray after the first morning. The air conditioner, work fine kept the place nice and cool. There is a dehumidifier running and we had to empty it almost twice a day. The shower is……

“The home had plenty of sleeping space and a small den to relax in. The home was very clean, had plenty of towels, and is quite secluded. The cabin is located on a working ranch with 4 beautiful horses the owner let us feed long carrots to. It’s about 20min (mostly getting out of the property to the main road) to the Mt Pisgah National Forest and 35min to downtown Asheville. Our dog spent most of his time on the back porch and enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells. We tried to fish the pond but……

“This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale. We go to work, reconnect, and relax which is hard to nail all at once, but this cabin helps us do just that. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The site is beautiful and provides many sustainable options for activities and cooking (e.g., hiking trail, parks, wood-fire pizza oven on site). We also traveled with our dogs and will add that the site and the glamping cabin is very dog-friendly, offering an off-leash area for the dogs to run around and a washing station. The staff were also very responsive to questions via text. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.”
