“It seems like the front desk was penalizing me for booking through website and put me in the room next to the elevator when the place didn't look full at all. It was very noisy and the ice machine was broken and making big noise too.”

“Upon arriving, we were told that Hotel.com had booked us a smoking room. I showed them the e-mail confirmation on my computer only to get remarks such as, "That won't change anything" "It doesn't matter what your e-mail says"... We asked if they could make the change and the lady first said no, and it's not because they were full, just because they got the information that we wanted a smoking room, while never providing any proof that was the what happened. After some negotiation, we were able……

“Very dirty room. Both beds had dirty bedding along with cigarette burns. Bathroom was aged with poor maintenance. Tub had hairs from prior residents. Would stay FAR away from this location.”

“This is a lovely property, funky and quaint decor, comfortable room and beds. We were there during the week so didn’t have breakfast but the kitchen area is super clean and well stocked with coffee and tea options. The owner was very communicative about arrangements and was flexible when I thought I needed an early check in The shared bathroom is cute and clean. If I’m in the Pittsburgh area again I would definitely go back”

“Not a bad place for one night”

“Staff was kind but property was filthy. The premium room was ok I found a roach egg in a drawer but no actual bugs. linen discolored from the age but I know they washed the linen because the door of laundry was open . walking around the property to leave multiple janitor rooms fillled with old commodes and broken fixtures with a nasty stinch. Nothing really looks maintained. I did notice men working on the landscape.”

“Don't stay here, it is awful. I checked into a room for two nights and the bathroom sink was plugged up with cigarette ashes and smelled awful. Also the toilet seat was very loose, I couldn't sit on it. The tv remote did not work. I finally got it to work after many attempts, but then it would not turn off. The manager suggested I just unplug the tv!. I was able to meet the maid, who had cleaned the room earlier and she was aware of the plugged up sink and surprised that the manager put a guest……

“When I arrived, there was no one at the desk. My entire check-in took less than 3 minutes and was hassle-free. The staff were great, answered any questions we had, and were prompt when we needed extra towels or other assistance. The room was clean, the beds were soft and comfortable, and we had a great view. The breakfast buffet was fresh, and there was a staff member present to keep the buffet area stocked and clean. The pool area was very clean, and the water seemed like it was a heated pool.……

“While the staff and the hotel itself was good. We were in a room directly next to the elevators and the WiFi did not work in the room at all. We needed it for work while we were there. It was awful having to work from our hotspots because the AP (access point) on our side of the building wasn’t working and they never got it up and running. It sucked and made us leave a day early. ”
