“Raccoons had access to your room from the rooftop since it was made out of tree palms leaves, no one cleaned room from previous stay as the sheets were dirty and dead bugs were within the linen. No refreshing of towels while staying there for 5 days. At night the raccoons were on the rooftop and broke a whole in the palm leaves. ”

“We are a family of 6, 4 kids ages range from 6-12. This was our first time in Mexico. We had an amazing time at Mía and in Tulum in general. The beach was incredible even with the sargassum. The pool was great for our kids. The rooms were good. Loved having a balcony we could relax on. The staff was top notch. Everyone was so friendly especially Francisco. “We really loved La Zebra. The staff were amazing, restaurants very good too. Our room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with a view of the gulf. The pool was a disappointment being located on an upstairs level with few loungers, and sadly we were inundated with sargassum so swimming off the beach was disgusting. ”

“Very disappointing stay
I stayed at Casa Gitano after booking through Expedia. Our room had a serious bug problem with numerous insects inside. The bugs were everywhere on our clothes.
The sink in our room was clogged, and staff had to come fix it. Shortly after, the hot water stopped working, and we were left having to use cold water.
The pool was extremely dirty with sand and debris floating on the surface, and we were told it would take several days to clean, which they should have taken……
