The property is beautiful, well maintained. The rooms are nice. The bed was not very comfortable. There was a roach in my room... Not happy about that but I did expect bugs.
I was disappointed in the service. There was an incident at one of the Eden pool where 3 of the guest, 2 guys and 1 lady consumed too much alcohol and clearly needed help. They were dehydrated it was too hot. The lady threw up on the ledge before she got out of the pool. the staff stood by and watched them and when we inquired about medical attention for them we were told there would be an extra charge for that. A few of us went into action to help them.
The in person restaurant reservation system for the Japanese restaurant is insane. The reservation stand is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. we waited in line for 30 minutes!
The best food on the resort is pez vela and blue moon (adult only guest) the buffet was good as well. I’m not a fan of buffets however they have omelet and pancake stations as well as foods from all around the world.
I was underwhelmed with the food at the steakhouse and Mexican restaurants.
We spent a lot of time at the piano bar in the main lobby. The service was amazing! Fun atmosphere. We did karaoke and played bingo. I had an amazing experience at the spa as well.
In most instances the service was good not great. The night before I left I arranged for bellman service at 9:30am. At 9:40am me, my luggage and bags trekked our way to the lobby.smh
