“The property and staff were nice..A few take aways,
1) 3pm Check-in means 3pm no flexilbilty on that,,
2) After we checked-in the two specialty restaraunts were already booked up. for our entire stay..(our stay was from Mon_Fri.)...Bummer.
3)The resort sits on the side of a mountain, so the pool and beach are a distance..so you need to be in decent shape for the hike back..”

“A short hour+ drive from Liberia. Bahia del Sol was a pleasant surprise. A very quiet beach with restaurants, bars, and other amenities within walking distance. The grounds are beautiful.
We were there in the rainy season but it was fine. Arrival day it rained most of the afternoon and evening. The next day it rained in the evening, but we got 3 solid days of sunshine and breezes.
Parking is a bit tight, but we always got a spot.
Free breakfast each morning, although the selection was……

“We’ve payed around 5000 dollars to enjoy 3 days and 2 nights, considering that we were star class, the check-in process was fine, they explained us our benefits, etc… During this period of time, the food was awful. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner is this So Cal Buffet, and the quality of the food was horrible. The food was cold, cheap, disgusting and even hard to even look at or swallow. The people next to the table even called the food ‘’ass’’. And I totally agree. The lunch menu was fine,……

“I stayed at Secrets Papagayo in October when the resort was at 60% capacity, so it was pleasantly relaxed and never felt overcrowded.
I’d read complaints about the shuttles, and it’s true that the steep layout makes walking around difficult. However, I never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride, even at 1 a.m. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and my room’s AC worked great. As a former military guy, I’m pretty easy to please: give me a clean room and cold air, and I’m……
