"We had an excellent time at our chalet in Gondomar. It was quiet and absolutely beautiful with spectacular views. Our host, Sebastião, was excellent. Not only did he take us to the grocery store upon arrival and helped us pick out the best stuff, he surprised us with a birthday cake for our friend on his birthday morning! It was beautiful and delicious. He also shared his contact info and was invaluable with a couple of great restaurant recommendations. We can't wait for our next trip to Porto...

"Very disappointing, WiFi didn’t work for the whole time, tried to shower and the valve was broken so only came out boiling hot or cold at a trickle, they mended that, both shower drainage was blocked and when they unblocked, it stank the house out!! It was just as well we had other places to go! Couldn’t get the gas hob to stay alive but may have been doing something wrong, Other than that it was ok."

"Nice multi-level property with a rooftop terrace that provides a great view of Funchal. Management was quick and responsive. Be aware that if the weather is hot there’s no AC. They provided a room AC that worked for the bottom floor, and fans for the other two bedrooms…but it was warm for sleeping…but otherwise really enjoyed our stay!"
