“Checking in was very smooth. The hotel contacted me in advance and was ready for our arrival. Checked us in, helped with our luggage and gave us some very useful local insights to the restaurants nearby. During our stay they even gave us a nice surprise, to help us enjoy the wonderful city and area even more. We had a balcony overlooking the street to ourselves, though we didn't use it, as it was way too hot outside, but it was still nice to know we had one to use, if we wanted. The location……

“Would highly recommend. Extremely quiet and peaceful, while still being near popular and busy streets for food and activities.”

“Staff are helpful and response very fast. Ventilation in the room is fair, luckily it offers a fan to us. ”

“We had the opportunity to stay in Lisbon at Santa Bica for about 5 days and it was honestly incredible and truly the best stay we have ever had. From the moment we got there earlier than check in, we were greeted with such sweet and welcoming staff. We were able to keep our bags in our room earlier and explore the city. We met the manager Bruno, and it truly felt like you were being welcomed by a friend. Our room was so clean and it was so cool that our room opened up to the restaurant balcony……

“Love here very much.”

“Thanks last week Your help was a comfort to our home when my friends and I needed it most. By Asian friends whose planes are grounded ”

“The staff could have smiled more and been more welcoming. We felt like we were bothering them by checking out. They charge extra for coffee, if I pay 800 dollars to stay at your hotel, coffee should be complimentary.”

“The location was between major attractions. It definitely needed an Uber trolley to and from places as it was up hill. The Uber was more convenient than the trolley to the train station. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was available but required you to order and would take 30 minutes for 10 Euros. We did not have breakfast with them. We walked up the street to a bakery. We had two bedroom suite which was ideal with two teenagers. Everyone had their space. We enjoyed our day trip to……

“The location was excellent—easy access to public transport and within walking distance of major attractions. If you’re planning to explore the city without a car, this is a big plus.”

“In a lively area a couple blocks from nightlife and bars but the unit was very quiet (so was the street). Only 10-15 min walk from most highlights of the city and train was only 10 min walk to the station. Room was clean and well kept. Communication with host before check in was good and was given plenty of information. Would definitely recommend.”
