Staff said cockroaches are everywhere and did not help me to clean the floor when I found the first.died cockroach in my room.
Overall not comfortable .

“I stayed here with my family ten years ago, and I am back solo traveling. This hotel is like a family-owned hotel, no fancy decor and even no lift, but the owner was very nice. He chatted with me and was kind enough to carry my suitcase up the stairs for me. He even offered me a room for three people only for myself. The only thing I would complain about is the transportation, but there is a train station and a bus stop only less than five minutes away. I would stay here again.”

In that respect, It was a disappointment.

When I arrived , I thought it was a mistake. Its among many hostels, and outside/entrance reminded me of a boutique small hotel/hostel.. I stayed in Lyall Melbourne. That was a true 5 star boutique hotel in a very nice area. Ok, prices differ between Sydney and Melbourne, but……

“The staff here really are fantastic and are eager to help. The room is basic but it is comfortable. The duvet does however need replacing as the new white sheets exposed the scarily yellow and stained duvet, hence why I can't give this review 5 stars. ”

“Stayed for 2 nights with 2 kids.. great location..ocean view suite..room was clean and big enough for the kids and has all modern amenities..we were on level 1 and the balcony opens to ocean view.. unfortunately the roof of the bar under the balcony was being repaired so there were some privacy issues..
Only feedback the toilet seat was cheap plastic which squeaked a lot and we were worried of it will crack..
Bar and bistro under had good options and cheaper as well.lot of restaurants as well……
