“I would rate our stay a 2 out of 5. Let me explain why.We stayed in the Cambridge Room at the Belvedere, and there was actually a lot that we liked about it. The room was interesting, clean, and had a lot of character. It also had a charming little dormer-window sitting area that we absolutely loved. The grounds were beautiful, the building itself was great, and overall, we really liked the room.Unfortunately, the bed was awful. It appeared to be two box springs stacked on top of one another,……

“The Belvedere Estate was a beautiful building and the grounds were very nicely kept but I would not recommend the Abbey Room. The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt like you were sleeping on springs, definitely not a refreshing weekend of sleep. The room was incredibly hot - the estate has AC, but with the home being older, no cold air was coming out of our vents and windows barely opened to allow for air flow. I felt the advertised “delicious continental breakfast” was lacking for what……
