“The hotel was understaffed but the staff that was there were friendly and helpful”

“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“I had a reservation for 2 Queen. Beds and a sofa bed. That was supposed to be in my room when I got their own had two queen breads and my grandson had to sleep on the floor period they would not give me an extra room unless I paid period and it was their fault.”

“Very relaxing stay by the the water of Seneca Lake. The facility was kind of quaint which added to it's charm. Nice base to use to explore this area of the Finger Lakes.”

“There was a couple of people directly above our room that decided to have a fight in their room just before midnight. We were both waken by this disturbance. It settled down quickly, so we figured someone called it in. Not sure if we will stay here again.”

“This is a very reasonable and affordable place to stay as a solo or family traveler. It's a small independent motel that feels like a throwback to the 80s or 90s with actual metal room keys and decor that feels like your Grandma's spare room. The pool is well maintained and clean; the room I stayed in was decently cleaned but the maid definitely needed to check under the bed after the last guests left. The deluxe king bed room itself was enormous for a family of three just spending one night.……

The breakfasts were very tasty (and filling!), the property was beautiful, and there is access to several fun hikes and outdoor activities. If you're looking for a fast-paced location with lots to do, this might not be for you. However, if you're looking for a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is perfect.”

“Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception……
