“My husband and I booked this rental for our 15 year anniversary. We are from Florida and don’t get to venture north much. It was important for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy a change of scenery. This was the answer. We were blown away with the property and the views. The smell of cedar in the air really allows you to hone in on your home away from home. The location of the treehouse in proximity to town is unheard of for the secludedness of the treehouse. Driveway……

“The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and the reviews. My teenage son and I stayed here during a trip to the area for baseball, and it was perfect for us. We were close enough to where he was playing yet far enough away that we could enjoy the quietness. We enjoyed fishing the ponds and appreciated the little touches and supplies provided inside the cottage. We will definitely look to stay here again if baseball brings us back to the area.”

“We stayed for 4 nights as it was close to our daughters softball tournament. We enjoyed the homes decor and layout and it was very comfortable. Such a peaceful setting after long hot days at the ball field. *Ice cold A/C!!! The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful.”

“Deer outside every morning and night was awesome. Couldn’t use fire pit outside because of dry windy weather. Very cute and clean cabin. Perfect for our family of 5. Except there is only one shower. Two bathrooms one downstairs has shower sink and toilet. The one upstairs has only toilet and sink. The downstairs bathroom has heated floors which is awesome but it’s small so the positioning of the toilet nd sink is akward. You can rest your chin on the sink while you sit down to pee. ”

“We stayed for the weekend and the cabin overall is cute and can comfortably sleep 6. The overall cleanliness of the property needs to be addressed and you could tell it was not spot cleaned at a minimum before arrival of new guests. Another issue is the WiFi password not being posted anywhere once you get on site nor in the check-in instructions (all it says is it’s located on site at arrival) with little to no cell service I had to text Walter for password when we arrived. He did respond……

“This wonderful and cozy property exceeded all expectations. Very pet friendly and the home has everything needed to immediately feel at home for both the humans and their pets. The owner was outstanding and responsive to every need, including delivering wood for the fire ring personally on Thanksgiving day! Every pet need facilitated including dishes, toys, large fenced yard, leashes, etc. Close to Ellijay attractions and downtown, also great hiking and local adventures. Will be our first……
