Fosshótel Baron was located at the perfect spot in Reykjavik where multiple establishments were at a walking distance. The hotel also has a parking lot in front of the entrance where guests can park (for a fee) and hotel guests get a small discount. Will stay here again!

The hotel sits in a very strategic spot, making it easy to access the best of downtown Reykjavik without feeling crowded. From the room, you can enjoy a refreshing view of the surrounding snow capped mountains, which adds a serene backdrop to our stay. There is an electric charging point right infront of the hotel and plenty of parking spots.

Alles super - sehr gutes Frühstück - nettes Personal - großes Zimmer - sehr leise. Badezimmer etwas klein und zu wenig Möglichkeiten um die Handtücher aufzuhängen (4-Bett-Zimmer) - kein Problem für uns, könnte man aber leicht durch Haken an der Tür verbessern.

Second stay. Was put in a refurbished room this time and so much more comfortable than the older room I stayed in previously. Would now highly recommend staying here especially if you get the more modern room. Location is great. Only negative is that breakfast is really pricey here so did not partake.

This hotel was one of the best places I've stayed. In wonderful, but expensive Iceland, they provide a fantastic breakfast each morning that is worth the stay itself. More impressive are the helpful and friendly staff who helped me arrange transportation (I am handicapped) tours, all manner of assistance that really mattered to me. More than that, they did it all with a friendly smile and a lot of compassion. The hotel is situated in a part of the city that makes it easy to move about, as a bus stop is just up the hill, a five minute walk.

The shuttle is two blocks from the hotel. Staff were very helpful! Breakfast is good and plentiful (not cheap but no food in Reykjavik is). Clean, and very quiet rooms . Best bed in 3 weeks! Worst disappointment was clouds during the Aurora!
