「Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again.」

Perth was within easy walking distance. The lounge with the wood burning fire in the evening was cozy and a great environment to enjoy a wee dram. Great breakfast.」

「I arrived a bit early. Nobody wS there, save a sign and two phone numbers to call. I reached someone, and was asked to wait a few minutes. A bit later, i checked in. Bags were carried for me. and i was shown how the electric worked. A nice touch was the cooked to order complimentary breakfast the next morning. Save for those first few minutes, my stay was fine.」

「Staff was great. They were rolling out a soft start after a kitchen remodel and handled it well. Setting is beautiful, rooms were clean but views out the window need refresh as we looked into an unmaintained garden area. Doors could be repainted in the public areas esp the bathroom. Drinks on the lawn watching the sunset was fantastic. Would recommend and stay again.」

「This bed and breakfast does the job- a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast. It is showing its age but there is evidence of renovation and a strong smell of recent paint. So to the owners credit they are investing in updates and care about their customers. I was travelling so only needed a good nights sleep. I did walk to a nearby Indian and had no concerns about my safety. I would use again on my travels as it is value for money and updating.」

「Had a brilliant time with my husband and absolutely loved seeing the newly renovated Crieff Hydro, it’s absolutely beautiful. We were there child-free celebrating our 10-year anniversary, so it felt extra special. The meals and breakfasts were outstanding and really made the stay even more enjoyable. Our only frustrating moment was when we tried to have a drink in the adult bar. Unfortunately, there appeared to be only one member of staff on. We sat down for around 15 minutes without any...
