“Kibune Hiroya turned out to be much older than expected. Room is tired looking and everything seemed old. However, service is super attentive and dinner is very very good, although we were disappointed that the rain kept us from dining over the river, kawadoko, which the town is famous for. Thankfully we were able to do it for breakfast and it was really an amazing experience.”

“When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. It was the season of firefly sighting so we decided to explore the town at night, he noticed that me and my companion was wearing short sleeves and quickly told us to wear a jacket to protect us from insect bites, he even lend us a torch as it was quite dark on the streets.
