「Absolutely loved this hotel and would come back in a heartbeat. The sea view room was worth it. We spent many nights sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. The water was safe to drink which made life easy. The complimentary breakfast every morning was very impressive with fresh fruit, made to order pancakes, waffles and omelets, and plenty of hot foods including chorizo, sausage, chilaquiles, and chimichangas.」

「There were 4 rooms for us on the trip. One party had to change rooms twice and another twice due to a/c outages, leaking a/c and bugs. Staff moved us in the middle of the night, with no directions. Management was nearly impossible to speak with, causing us to miss majority of a day because we were told to just wait and keep checking for them to come back. 「The staff and restaurant were great. The hotel was clean, rustic and a dive resort. Great amenities for that. My only complaint is one of the main roads is right next to the resort. I mean right there. The road noise was at times very very loud. Not sure who drives the unmuffled motorcycle at 3 am most morning but ugh! The sunset views from our patio were awesome. Best part…no cruise piers in your line of sight. Staff were very friendly and helpful.」

My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers.
