“Excellent stay, perfect location for the Open Air venue. Incredible hosts, cute little bar, nice rooms, comfy bed and a cracking breakfast. We will return. ✨”

“I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me.……

“Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!”

“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

“- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”

“Room was clean we were in the family room and it was very nice ! Breakfast really not worth the money , should have been included in the price of the hotel stay tbh ! Staff were very nice and efficient when checking in”

“Outdated and shabby hotel. Decor scuffed and scruffy - place looks like not painted in 30 years. Very disappointing.”

“There was a complication with a Double Booking in my name & then allocated a small Twin not the Suite that it stated on Paperwork? The route to our Room was very complicated & meant we had to drag a Huge Suitcase up & down a lot of Steps!! The room was very small & obviously not cleaned very well before we got there as there was a huge empty Water Bottle left on top of the Drawers & some paperwork left by previous guests!? The Room & Bedding did have a slight damp smell which didn’t assure me it……

“Good sized room, really comfy bed! Good supply of tea and cofee. Only issue I had was window doesn't shut properly but was a mikd 2 nights so wasnt bothered. A really good priced stay and nice and close fo town centre and the cricket ground ”

“It was the most disgusting place it needs to be cleaned up. We could not even view the room we had to find alternative accommodation which was extra cost not budgeted for. This place should NEVER be advertised. I am sorry I paid for this poor excuse of a hotel”

“The twin room we had was fine if basic. Bedding was clean but there was no mattress protector and there were two old pillows squashed into one pillowcase. The beds were small- child’s width. One issue was the location - lots of drunks walking past and people taking drugs on the benches over the road where the property looked out to the sea. The outside area was shoddy and uninviting and uncomfortable to sit in due to the drunks walking by and shouting obscenities. Also chairs and tables cheap……

“Room was clean and when I asked for a new bathroom bulb it was sorted quickly by maintenance. Sea gulls and pigeons make for a very bad mess around the exterior of the property. Staff very friendly. The balcony area needed more parasols. Your parking cost, when given over the telephone menu said it was £8 so needs updating as the charge at booking in was £10. Overall a good stay it is recommended.”
