"If you’re looking for a luxury break in a typically Scottish baronial establishment, this is the place for you. Great staff, great location, fabulous facilities, good drinks list and plenty to keep you occupied. Ten out of ten!’ (Plus there’s peacocks!)"

"This was a lovely and unique experience. The hotel is just a few miles outside Oban but we felt like we were far away, in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable. We ate at both restaurants and had superior meals every time. They had live music from a local trio one evening in the lounge and they were absolutely delightful! We highly recommend this lovely place!"

"The Scot is one of the best if not the best accommodation for passer by’s through the picturesque town of Oban. Located in the very middle of everything, with restaurants, shops, and the Instagrammable little port not more than a couple of minutes walking distance away. Rooms are very well maintained and appointed. The bathrooms are a little small but modern and very clean. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to Oban"
