The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. 」

We booked the upgraded room and the main difference to our friends standard room seemed to be the room location and the size of and facilities in the bathroom (we had twin washbasins, large bath, separate large shower, bidet, wc). The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. No dinner facilities or bar, but close to lots of bars and restaurants in the town.」

「I really enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was clean and tidy. It took a few minutes to be served at the bar at times but eventually I got served. My only problem was I booked a double room for myself, but the ed was 2 singles joined together. I understand why they do this but I could feel the gap in between the 2 beds and it felt like I was rolling into it all night. Other than the bed a great place to stay」

「Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,...

「We have stayed here a few times now as it is convenient for family visits. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are comfortable and warm (last days of December!). Over the years, the management has invested in the site and it now has a gym, which we could have used if we had known about it. Definitely planning on return visits!」
