“The Padre is a nice, basic motel. The Padre’s proprietor, Charles, was very friendly and helpful. He responded to our needs quickly. This hotel is an older building but well maintained and clean. Escalante is a tiny town. You can walk to the few restaurants along Main Street. The Escalante National Monument is just 10 minutes down the million dollar highway, and that is amazing to experience.”

“We did not feel it was anything like the picture presented on Expedia. The room was very close to the road which was loud with the traffic. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The clerk did suggest restaurants for dinner and breakfast which was very helpful.”

“Lovely clean little motel 30 ish mins from zion! My boyfriend and I chose to stay here because it was a good cheap price and close to the park, and the photos looked great. It lived up perfectly to our expectations! The room was clean and very nicely decorated! Certainly nicer than any motel i’ve ever stayed in, but the price was still so reasonable which makes it a 10/10 for me. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to go to zion and are just looking for a clean, reasonably……

“Comfortable room if a bit dated. Direct TV didn't work even though the staff tried everything to help. They were very accommodating. The attached restaurant was good. The "lodge" is really an old motel that has been renovated. Still, it was a comfortable stay.”

“Property did not match the pictures from the site. Got a glimpse of one of the rooms from an open door and it did not match the pictures on the site. After trying to be known a little early, we decided to not stay there and let them keep the money we spent.”

“Wow, immaculate! Within walking distance to great restaurants. Cowboys is a couple doors away and we ate there twice. The room was super clean. It had everything you would need. We would definitely stay there again if we pass this way.”
