「Had a lovely stay here. Room was sufficient, bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. It's in a great location. 15 mins from train station. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was a cold buffet, cereals, toast, yogurt, pasties anc coffees, teas, orange juice. Great, would stay here again.」

「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「Staff are approchable and went to the trouble of wishing one of our party birthday wishes following a throw away comment about the reason for our visit. There was a wedding function the weekend we stayed and there was no distruption or loud noises. Very relaxed atmosphere and very good breakfast. The evening menu is a little limited in choice but we found the quality of food good.」

「This is a beautiful wee cottage did not disappoint in any sense. My sat nav was not the best and had problems as it just takes you to an area as opposed to the actual house. Would definitely go back for longer as there are so many areas to sit outside 」

「We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea. Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size. A cooked breakfast is included or...

「The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes 」
