“The lobby was clean. My room had an odor and dust was on the coffee maker and the ice bucket lid. Under the sink in the bathroom is very dusty. Bathtub needs to be replaced. Very discolored and nasty looking. Carpet needs shampoo.”

“Pictures don’t do it justice, what a cute comfortable farmhouse it is. Well decorated comfortable, seating and bedding. Frankly, if they put it up for sale, I’d probably snatch it up. Well stocked coffee and even snacks were provided. I got to watch three female turkeys to a stroll through the yard while I had my morning coffee. Highly recommend.”

“Dates should be to Sun, Mar 29. Absolutely "the best"! Clean, awesome showers/bathrooms, comfortable beds, wonderful pillows! So very interesting and historical. Anything you could want or need is made available. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back, though. And, I must explain our trip...we are 65 and 63, traveling with our 10 year old granddaughter, my 84 y/o mom and 92 y/o father-in-law. Democrats to the max. My grandfather passed on election day 1976, lived long enough……

“People wanted to party all night and this is a small town, then the 2nd night someone decided to take off outside our room making noise in their car. The pool was out of order, the ice machine was out of order. They need to remodel this hotel as they don't sweep, mop or dust. The tub was scary but that's because they use one of those tub mats and it pulls up the enamel. No stopper in the tub or sink just open also scary. The ironing board had a big rip in it and the beds need to be replaced as……

“Believe we may have been the first guests, as we had to remove stickers and inserts from fridge, microwave and dishes. No top sheet in front bedroom and only one thin coverlet. Still had Christmas decor out. No clothes hangers and 2nd bedroom closet is so stuffed w/ a Christmas tree you couldn't use the closet anyway. Sits right on top of train tracks which there is no mention of in the listing. Neighbors were very loud Sat night, until very late. Air blows cold and hot water is hot, that's as……

“We booked this home for its photos (true to form), lake views, and proximity to the marina. The air conditioning was amazing and the huge TV was great for watching the Olympics. The rooms were good size and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is a little bit small but super functional with loads of storage. Washer and dryer are new. Nice patio for dinners and interior sun room made for a great game area.”
