The host was communicative but only when asked (love) and was beyond accommodating. I so appreciate her and every extra on the home. We felt very blessed to have stumbled upon such an absolute gem. “Nice simple cabin on beautiful lake. Small bathroom. There is a hair dryer provided. As is noted in description the loft is more for teens. Just too hard to maneuver stepping up onto floor from the ladder because of space and slant of roof line. We used the fold out sofa for one of us instead. It was old and not that comfortable but easier than the loft. It isn’t too far from Acadia NP and other activities. We ventured out every day. ”

“A stunning destination. The cabin is old amd rustic but recently updated mattressss made the stay much more comfortable. We will stay here over and over because the beauty and tranquility it offers are unmatched. This was our 5th visit since 2012 and it won't be our last.”
