"Hotel Carlton aces all the basics for a great price. The bed is comfy. Rooms are remodeled with mid-century decor. Plenty of towels, soaps, and tissues are provided. Every room has a fridge, and kettles are available by request. The staff is friendly too. The location is central, although you must know Found Hotel Carlton is on the edge of the tenderloin, so the homeless and local business conditions reflect that. Also yes, the walls are thin but it didn’t bother me. There are 9 floors, so I recommend requesting an end room on floor 6+. All in all, I highly recommend Found Hotel Carlton."

"Parking was easy, room was clean are close to everything "

"It felt like a boarding house. No common area to sit on a couch and relax. Our window opened onto an air shaft and no view. Neighborhood parking is nonexistent so only stay if using Uber. The bed and bath were clean. However I would not stay there again."

"1)The room was nothing like pictures. 2) Constant banging and screaming all night long. 3) Random strangers/homeless banging on doors early in the morning. 4) Room was small, everything was dilapidated and old 5) Pigeons banging the window constantly "

"Central location, old style Pensione Hotel, Cental bathroom and that's ok. It's all about location! You're on Market Street close to everything you need. Parking is simple but park off Market OR you might get towed. Park and walk. Grab rooms towards the back. Less streetlight glare and street noise. "
