“A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!”

“Convenient, near to the city centre and the bus terminal. Not good choice for family, especially about the bathroom setup. The shower is fixed on the wall, while the sink is too high for kid”

“A clean basic overnight stay. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant attached was excellent . Fantastic burgers and a great breakfast. We would stay again.”

“First of all i would like to say that the bedding was ruined on 2 singles.. Stained disgusting took photo.. Had someone to change the bedding .. None of us could sleep at night we were told then it was where the pipes were on & off all night .. Stayed here 3 times i don’t think i will be coming back .. Another hotel would have put us in another room .. The bedroom was really big .. It would be nice to have some sort of a discount ..”

“First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. It sounds comical but with the slippery shower base and total darkness, it wasn't funny. I had to open the shower door and wave my arm to……

“Very quiet room "Premier Plus". Good internet. Breakfast was fine, but not as good as at most of our other stays in UK. ”
