「A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby...

「The property was nice inside but the room we had was in the old part wasn’t very clean a lot of dust furniture tatty curtains hanging off the rail water stains on ceiling paint all flaking on the walls in the window and a lot of cold coming from the windows really bad stains on the mattress but the towels and bedding was very clean left the portable heater on all nite to keep the room warm」

「First of all I have to mention Stephen, he’d only been working at the hotel 2 weeks but it didn’t show. He knew exactly how to fulfil his role as we were shown round. The house and rooms are beautiful and well laid out. Service perfect from start to finish. Breakfast was wonderful as was the spa. We had a very relaxing stay and will be back again when the weather is better to enjoy the garden. Thank you again.」

「A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.」
