University of California Santa Cruz Arboretum

Bathroom smells like a public toilet. Tub wasn’t draining and it pools to my ankles by the time I was done showering, there was hardly any hot water in the shower, and the entire property itself was just gross. I didn’t stay for my entire reservation; I couldn’t stand to stay another night so I left early. I told the front desk person “my room is horrible,” and he just looked at me and didn’t acknowledge or ask for any details. My uber had been waiting outside so I didn’t even bother addressing it further. Never staying there again—it was disgusting. There were several events happening in San Jose so the better hotels were booked up over my dates. This property was the only one that had availability—now I know why.

Staff, and breakfast

The two queen beds suite room is really nice and we had great experience with the front desk and the room was really clean
