“We stayed here for my son’s Clemson graduation and the location was great for that—about 15/20 minutes to Clemson. The house itself is adorable and probably the most well stocked VRBO that I have ever stayed in. It was cozy and felt like a real home but also very clean and had anything you might need (except actual lake water but that is certainly not their fault). The real star of the show though is the host, Michelle. Her communication is the best that I have had with a VRBO host. She offered……

“Very clean and cozy. You could tell that all the little details were considered from added pet supplies to the sound machine for sleeping. Hot tub was very nice and the fenced area was easy for taking out the dog without a leash. The fireplace was great and the kitchen had everything you could need.”

“This place needs work and host needs to be honest when we picked this place we thought it would be a good place but upon arriving it took us 30 min to get the door unlocked we teied severl phone calls and tex messages finally after putting in code and trying everything to access property we paid for then after inside the washer and dryer had signs saying its out of order veey unprofessional to not disclose theses issues .”

“HVAC filter had not been changed in 9 mos-wish I had known that a 1/4 mile gravel access drive led to cottage. It rained every day and drive was full of mud holes.”

“We stayed 20 nights so got a flavor for the Mountain Forrest . Really great location close to Helen & Clarksville. Gravel Road in was in need of grading but that was our fault as we were in a highway sedan. Would stay again!!”

“Five stars all the way! The hosts were very communicative from the start and had very detailed instructions for check in, WiFi password, tv usage, directions to the property, and check out process. The property was perfect for my family of four - adults in the bedroom, one teen up in the loft and another teen on the sleeper sofa. Plenty of bed linens and towels for our stay, and enough kitchenware for meals when we didn’t want to go to a restaurant. Very close to Helen and all of the magic that……
