「We arrived at checkin time 4PM, were told it will take 10 min to get the room ready but it took 50-60 min. There was no apologies or update that it will take longer. The property has a dog which keeps barking. Suggestion from host was to keep curtain of one of the windows down all the time else the dog will see us and bark more. Then there was walking noise till 3AM. We were told we are the only guests on the property so am guessing it was from the host. Do not count on the host telling that...

「Angela was wonderful, she met us upon arrival and helped us to settle. Prior to arriving she was great, and quick with communication via text. I was thinking the hotel would be kitschy and dated but it was absolutely not! It was a great balance of historic and modern, very clean, not dated, adorable little storybook/fairytale theme. 「The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...
