「Great base for the northumberland coast,we visited bamburgh which has lots of history,we can recommend the grace darling museum and the church .Also Alnwick has a fantastic castle,( harry potter was filmed there.) The Amble inn had a great atmosphere we were lucky,band played on the friday we arrived .they played great music.And the meal we booked was lovely.well done to all the staff we were made very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Plenty of free parking aswell.」

「If you value the suspension in your car then avoid the long potholed drive up to this property! On arrival it transpired the lift was not working and no-one appeared the whole weekend to investigate or repair. No idea how long it had been broken. No apology was given when we arrived. 「Room perfect for the purpose of a family of 4 getting a good nights sleep before an early flight. Customer service and restaurant staff not of the same quality as I’ve experienced in other Hilton hotels. Restaurant service was terribly slow, staff all inefficient, inexperienced and a lazy manager. When I asked for the service charge to be removed at no point did she ask why…. Looked like an unhappy camp although the number of staff was plentiful for the customers in the restaurant.」
