Perfect Crest Getaway

From start to finish the process was fantastic. The unit was impeccable, even better than advertised and the location couldn't have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The property management company was incredibly responsive and efficient and made the check-in, check-out process seamless. Would highly recommend this property if you're in the market for a Crest rental!

Great Place to Stay with Extended Family

Ample space where granddad, parents, kids and aunt all had their own rooms. The owners thoughtfully had games, menus from local restaurants, brochures for local points of interest, adult and children's books, a fully equipped kitchen, a drawer full of dvds, as well as, streaming services on TV's. There is a place to store bikes around the back of the development. It felt like home away from home. We made lots of great memories here.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 10th time we have stayed at the Hialeah and we choose this location due to the great pool area, the proximity to the beach and the roominess of the unit. We stayed in Unit 103 and it was by far the nicest one we have every stayed in. The decor was updated and recently renovated. We enjoyed the laminate floors, as opposed to carpeting - much easier to clean. The unit was well-equipped with kitchen utensils and pots/pans and small appliances. We did use the linen amenities package but would love to have the option of declining this and not paying the $100. The only negative is that the unit above us had a child that ran non-stop like it was a racetrack and this was VERY noisy and annoying.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a great rental unit. Very easy to check-in as there is a key in a lock box. The property is close to the beach, which was great since we had elderly parents with us who can't walk far. The beach was not crowded at all near this location. We had more than 2 cars but easily found a spot on the street for an extra car. The property is updated nicely and beautifully decorated. The shower in the master bathroom was one of the nicest showers I have used in a rental unit. The place is on the smaller side but has lots of places to store things and it is also close enough that you can walk to the boardwalk. The convention center is about a mile from this property which was convenient as we were there for a dance competition. The only issues we had was that the ice maker did not work in the freezer. We contacted someone about it, they gave us some guidance for things to try immediately. We did get a few ice pieces to come out but they were yellow in color so we just bought a bag of ice and did not use the ice maker. One night we went downstairs to use the BBQ grills but the igniters were not working so we ended up having to cook our burgers on the stove. There is one elevator for this property and on move in day, it gets a lot of use and frequently stops working. My in-laws had to carry all their luggage up the stairs since the elevator was not working when they showed up. Otherwise, everything else was perfect and I would definitely rent this place again. It is clean, updated nicely, in a nice area and fits most of our needs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were six of us, my son , his two young adult children and each brought a friend and myself. The condo was exactly as pictured on the website. It was decorated very nicely. The owner thought of everything to make a stay a good one. We have no complaints about the condo,What we do have complaints about were the people upstairs. They ,I assume, had a young child who ran, never walked, and was up very early and went to bed late at night. I was tempted to go up but decided better I didn’t. I didn’t bother to call the rental agency because after reading a review I saw that others had the same problem. The people must own that condo.The condo was beautiful would we rent it again sorry we would not.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful place!! We LOVED the renovations and how clean and stocked the place was. There were spices on the spice rack, easy to follow instructions everywhere and the kitchen was loaded with everything we needed. The place was so big and having the washer and dryer was fabulous!! The only two disappointments were that the ice-maker didn't work and the elevator broke so we had to carry ALL our luggage, food, etc. down the stairs when we left. But as I said, the place was absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at Hialeah before and this condo was as nice as the others we’ve stayed in. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely furniture and decor. The kitchen was pretty well stocked (no pitcher—I like to make iced tea) and everything was in working order. Location is great. Close to playground, some restaurants, bike rental, and the little Boardwalk section on Wildwood Crest. A bit of a walk to the main Wildwood Boardwalk but there is always the tram! The pool was heated and clean; our week was pre-season so we didn’t need the pool bands. There were 2 nice grills and a spa, which is a bit small for the amount of people that probably stay there during the season. But it wasn't too bad for the week we were there. A short half block walk to the beach. Could use an extra comfy chair or two in the living room (there were 8 of us) but would definitely stay there again.

Consider this one carefully

We had our family vacation at the Hialeah from 8/14/21 to 8/21/21 where we stayed in one of the first floor units. The unit was great for our family and the location near the beach was a bonus. The neighborhood was quiet the entire time we were there. There were two issues that came up during our stay. The first was that there was only one elevator and at the time of check in the lines of people were so long it prohibited all of us from getting our things to our rooms. Since we were on the first floor we walked all of our luggage, food and belongings up the stairs. Second, we experienced a noise problem that stemmed from within the complex. The building was clearly built without any type of sound buffering between the floors and the amount of noise from the unit above ours was horrible. It usually started around 10:00 p.m. with what sounded like a tender age child running and pounding of the floor from one end of the unit to the other. This went on for two to three hours and it caused the light above our table to shake and the dishes in our cabinets to rattle. I reached out to the property manager Alex the first night we were there inquiring what we can do to address this noise issue and for the next two nights the noise was slightly less. However, by Wednesday night it not only started up again it was considerably worse. I texted Alex at 10:30 p.m. however my text went unanswered until the next afternoon. It became clear to me that he either never addressed my complaint or the guest above us were just extremely inconsiderate of others staying in the complex. By Thursday night and then again on Friday I received no follow up from Alex and he stopped answering my texts altogether. The more troubling issue was that a very young child was running and stomping through the unit until after midnight almost every night we were there. The failure of the property manager Alex to address our noise complaint along with the lack of any noise buffering in the complex would insure that we will never stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool, hot tub and outside area of condo's were immaculate. Short walk to the beach which was great. Unit needed vacuuming under the beds...found candy wrappers and Legos. Ceiling vents covered in dust and someone had a black towel above the front bedroom window (I'm guessing to block out the light.)which was full of dust. Storage locker was great and large enough to fit all of the beach equipment. Good value for the cost but really would have enjoyed the stay much more (backache from mattresses) if the mattress had been updated and dust removed before we got there. Great location, great activities in close proximity and great restaurants!
