「The rooms are perfectly imperfect in my opinion, lovely place to stay, rooms are more homely than a like for like hotel. Bear in mind the surroundings that contribute to the impossible task of keeping these rooms 100% spotless. Wonderful place would definitely visit again.」

「Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. The venison pie was outstanding. Opting for something more healthy my wife and I chose the porridge with local honey the first morning and repeated the same...

「The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.」

「Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. 」

「We (my two adult daughters and myself) just came back from a 12 night stay in the UK. We went to 9 hotels, and this was our favorite! It was so quiet and peaceful there with no outside noise. The setting was beautiful with lots of outside dining spaces. The rooms were nice and the staff was super sweet. Breakfast was amazing with large, cook to order options. We would definitely come back and stay again!」

「Was there for 3 nights, the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The breakfast was good, the only downside I felt is the breakfast timing. It starts only by 8:00, but they're are happy to pack you something if you let them know in advance. 」
