「We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. 「We loved our stay here. We could easily walk everywhere. The owner was helpful in several ways beyond expectation. While the street below our room was noisy in the daytime, it was very quiet at night. The provided tea and juice was much appreciated, and without our asking, the owner bought gluten free oat milk, just in case we wanted it. Wonderful service bu those very friendly and helpful staffs but one problem is the rooms which located on the ground floor are just next to the bar courtyard, you can hear all the noises by the customers because they just seats outside your windows.」

Very quiet room even though it's next to the main road. I'd like it more if they provided the usual hotel amenities in the room (e.g. a bath cap). 「The breakfast was terrible. We were told on arrival that a continental breakfast was only available. If a European guest was offered this meal, they would have truly insulted as we were .when we used this hotel last year, we had a full English breakfast which was very good. The food standards now are appalling.」
