「the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again」

「Not being a dog owner all floors and furniture need a good vacuum and every room need a good dusting snd removal of cobwebs. Bar stools were soiled and need a good clean. Dining table and counter tops we had had to clean. In addition we had a 8 month old baby with us and were relunctant to let her crawl. The front verandah and windows could have had a good clean. So not sure why we are charged cleaning fees??」

「Great location, convenient to wineries and facilities within Woodside. The property had a great feel to it, and while very near the main residence, we didnt hear or see anyone, even while sitting in the courtyard enjoying a bottle of wine. The photos are an exact representation of the property and we would definitely recommend. Beautiful little place with a friendly helpful host.」

「 Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified.」

「The house was wonderful and the perfect size for a couple of families with kids. The location is wonderful, close to many other attractions in the area. But the best part was the way we got to experience the farm and get to know the wonderful, kind and knowledgeable staff. They offered us unique opportunities to see the farm with no one else around. As my 6 year old said “I’m going to remember this holiday forever”. 」

「Whilst we enjoyed our girls weekend & the beautiful surrounding scenery, our stay at this property didn’t quite meet expectations.Unfortunately the property is actually a 3-bedroom home, with the 4th bedroom being an unfinished studio separate from the main house. This meant we were split up, which was not our aim when booking. The studio had a bathroom with no door, no water pressure with a shower window to outside, no privacy. Access to Bed 3 is only through Bed 2, which isn’t suitable for...
