"Hotel and rooms were super comfortable and warm. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and hanging in the restaurant pub for a pint or dinner. It was a bit on the noisier side than other places we stayed but it was St. Patrick Day's weekend. All in all it was in a good location to quickly get to things - we got to the Blackless castle in about 15mins and to Glasgow for the afternoon in about 40mins. We got to the airport the day of our stay in about 20mins. Very convenient. This...

"There was an intense sound of Drilling up until Midnight and it started again at 07:30 in the morning and this was a Sat - Sun. I did report the issue and I'm sure hotel staff will have it addressed if possible. "

Food was Excellent.My only negative and I'm being picky.the restaurant wasnt open on the night so had to Eat in Jocks Bar.Thus wasnt a problem but when i phoned to Book avtable in the Restaurant i was never told it was closed.Also this was never mentioned at check in. "Don’t be fooled by thinking you’re getting a quaint family run guesthouse experience, it was at one time but now it’s owned by the Indian restaurant and hotel next door. The rooms are clean and breakfast is very good. Good value for money and a short walk to pubs and restaurants if you don’t fancy the Indian."
