“We were very impressed with the Fireside Inn, which was created by converting an industrial laundry into a beautiful modern hotel. They did a marvelous job through and through, with special touches everywhere. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. We highly recommend the Fireside Inn. ”

“Really nice new property, with great little touches. Loved the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Went to the other hotel pool, which was fine, but sort of inconvenient and a lot of people there. The cottages were really cute looking outside and inside”

“Adorable retro hotel, i would recommend you stay here if you love a homey character vibe :) excellent customer service from the staff. worked with us patiently as our travel time was delayed. felt safe and cozy. loved astoria and this hotel is wonderful!!! also the goonies house is only 6 minutes from here! ”

“The property was ok but the coffee table was broken. Manager said new one would arrive on Monday but they never replaced it all week. Roku device was horrible. Apps said to replace Roku device as the one they had was so old it was outdated.”

“This place was great. Very clean and neat. It was beyond my expectations. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked, from dishes, cookware to laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. All you need to bring is food and your personal things. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially families! ”

“This property was perfect for the group of 5 ladies that headed to Astoria for a weekend of quiet adventure. The location couldn't have been more perfect, and the amenities were fabulous! Historic charm, lots of movies and books provided, a great view, lovely covered porch with chairs where we could sit and visit. We spent some of our time playing tourist, and some of our time enjoying the company we were with! ”

“The home was nicely restored with many antiques filling the rooms. The breakfast was excellent and we were given a special grab and go for early departure. There was a nice coffee area with an outdoor sitting area with a river view, although the highway noise in front of the river detracted. However, the neighborhood was very rundown. ”

“I and My Wife loved the view out the windows and from the patio. I was born in Astoria and this trip was a 70th Birthday wish by me. We liked the way the apartment was set up. and the stairs were easy to go up. the only thing we both did not like was the bar stools/dining table which was not good for my Back. can't sit on a bar stool chair due to a back injury.other than that the kitchen could use a better stove top.”
