“The staff was awesome. Linda gave us a tour of the facility and taught us about the history of the inn. We enjoyed the bar area at night and the room was all redone and so nice. Would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely beautiful property and the most gracious host. She made us a custom breakfast and easily accommodated us when we showed up hours earlier than our planned check in time. She’s a delight to visit with. You feel like family. This will definitely be our place to stay when we are in the area!”

“They overbooked so they moved us to a lovely room in the main hotel - was really happy with the 'mistake' - they also left a nice bottle of wine 'comp which was a nice surprise. I want to compliment Isabel, behind the lobby desk. She was very helpful, and welcoming. All around a really nice stay.”

“OUTSTANDING!!! Could not have had better weather. The hosts were incredible and went out of their way to ensure everything was working. Thew room was excellent and the bed was so comfortable. The Breakfast was fabulous and very filling. As far as I could tell everything was beyond my expectations and i highly recommend that you check this place out, minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.”

“Great experience. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Room was larger than expected, and quite comfortable with good amenities. Tv was a little small for the size of the room, and calling it a continental breakfast was a stretch, but having free snacks always available was a really nice gesture. The view, location, and trip experience were fantastic. Pet friendly!! Will absolutely return ”

“This was our first time at The Shelton Harbor Inn and it didn’t disappoint. We loved the quaint atmosphere and having a glass of wine by the fireplace was so nice. Staff was extremely friendly and the food at the restaurant was amazing! We’ll definitely be back. ”

“I stayed at the hotel for 4 days, Lisa at the front desk was great, upon check in I was told breakfast was served until 10am, however when I went to breakfast the next morning at 9am the food was basically gone, asked the restaurant staff and was told there was no more food, I checked my watch again and yes it was 9am!”
