“This property falls significantly short of its premium pricing and advertised standards. The website photos give a misleading representation. Upon arrival, the room exhibited severe maintenance issues: heavily stained carpeting, torn wallpaper, and yellowed skirting boards. Spare duvets were unceremoniously bundled into the wardrobe, making storage unusable. Furthermore, the bed consisted of two single beds not joined together, leaving a deep, uncomfortable gap down the middle. The bathroom……

“Probably one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent place, very good location. Lady was helpful with lots pf tips on surroundings.”

“Our stay at Invercreran Lodge was the most luxurious stay of our entire trip to Scotland. My biggest regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy the lodge. Upon entering the entire place has a signature smell that makes you feel comforted. Plush carpet in the bedroom, 5 star amenities in the bathroom and every detail meticulously thought out. Plenty of outlets right next to the nightstands, black out curtains that are truly blackout, a dyson fan for added air flow (and white noise) and even……

“Friendly staff, great location…”

“Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. It was just a lovely lovely room with numerous extras that set it……

“The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also very good. If anything to complain, it will be the room is small.”

“Not fit for human habitatation. Full of black mold. Some attempted to be wiped away, but thick patches in several rooms. Couldn't stay here with young children. After an hour of ringing around, no other rooms in FW, had to drive 4 hours home, arriving at 1.30am with young children. Host communication poor, sent me to wrong place, neighbours all complaining about this host when I asked directions. Not the important part, but clearly characteristic. Zero response to complaint from host. I stay……

“Mike was a wonderful host, full of character and knowledgeable of the places and people.”

“We can’t say enough about our stay here. The owners were two of the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like we were friends who had come for a visit after not seeing each other for many years. Food was great! The room was sweet and comfortable. We loved our stay and will plan on returning when we’re next ‘across the pond.’ When we were leaving, the owner came hurrying out to wave goodbye to us as we were pulling out of the driveway. That’s a first for us! ”

“We enjoyed the breakfast view and the overall esthetic. ”
