“While most of the hotel staff were warm and welcoming, our experience at the steakhouse on November 10, 2024, was disappointing. Some staff, particularly an older female server and a curly-haired male server, were rude and impatient. When one friend briefly left for the restroom, the older female server refused to take our order, insisting we wait for them to return. “We really enjoyed Mayan Monkey - we stayed for two days. The beachfront the great, room was nice and the amenities offered were good. The only downside I have to offer, the service was so slow in the restaurant, bar and beach club. While most of the staff were phenomenal, that aspect also restricted our ability to order more of what we wanted since everything took so long. Otherwise, an awesome stay and will definitely consider coming back. Thank you! ”
